Biographical information:
Things I've been doing lately:
I joined the Air Force prior to graduation and was on delayed-entry for around 9 months. I went active-duty in August '82 and spent time in TX, IL, and permanent duty in Tucson Arizona. I left the Air Force in '86 and lived and worked around Nashville prior to moving to Maine in '88. I have been working in telecommunications since 1989 with Siemens and currently work from a home office as a software specialist at Carousel Industries. I had moved to Knoxville in 1994, but moved back once again to Maine in 1997. In June 2003 I bought a home in Standish Maine where I currently reside.
My family:
I have a wonderful wife, Helen for the past 11 years. I have two children from a prior marriage. Both of them are boys, one born in 1983 and the other in 1986.
Life experiences:
I think that about the greatest life experience I have ever had was cruising through the White Mountains of New Hampshire on my motorcyle. Climbing one of the tallest mountains on the east coast (Mt. Washington) was another very memorable event. Of course all of this pales in comparison to watching my children being born.
My favorite memories of the good ole days:
I had some very good friends in High School. You don't realize how good they were until you join the Air Force and never really get to come back "home". I hope to visit Ringgold more frequently even though I have very limited family ties to the area now. Perhaps I will run into a familiar face sometime and share a laugh or two.
My favorite things now:
Riding my 2004 Harley Heritage on a sunny 60 degree day with blue skies. Sharing a beer or two with my friends and having a laugh or two. Lounging in the yard playing with my Wheaton terriers named Harley Bear and Dyna Girl
My favorite books, movies and music:
I have always been a Sci-Fi fan. I also read a lot of fiction by Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell, and John Grisham just to name a few.
I work at:
Carousel Industries
