Biographical information:
Things I've been doing lately:
I Married the most wonderful man in the world ( Charles Russell) I saw him at school but didn't really meet him till he came to my grandfathers store! He went to school at RHS too but we didn't know each other I just admired him from afar.
My family:
We have 3 children 2 girls and a son and together they gave us 10 grandchildren -- 2 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. I have worked off and on sice our youngest was 2 we moved to Florida in 1976 but we moved back in 1982 when I found out that my mother was dying of cancer-- she died in 1983 on Thanksgiving day. I now live in the house that my grandparents left me the one that I lived in while going to school I am now disabled and can't go any where so my husband got me this laptop so I could have some out let I really enjoy it. My husband is disabled now to so we are together enjoy each other every day. We married in 1963 so we will have oue 45 th anniversary this August.
Life experiences:
Giving my heart to the Lord, meeting amd marrying my husband my best friend, rasing our children and spoiling our grandchildren and great-grand-children.
My favorite memories of the good ole days:
I enjoyed the reading and homework just as long as I didn't have to get up in front of the class and talk! I really enjoyed paling around with my friends Betty Dunn, Maxine Edmonds, Ruth Ann Walker, Charollete Nolemam, Carloyn Stone, Rita Shook, and there are some I can't remember their names unless I look in the year book. But I found out that Betty was my Husbands cousin that was a surprise.I also enjoyed the teachers till Mr. pearson would send me to the caferteria to get him some coffee I always feared of spilling it in the hall his room was a long way from the caferteria. I enjoyed going to the football games and I guess I just loved school!!!
My favorite things now:
I past my time doing crafts, sewing, and shopping via the laptop. I made almost all of the christmas presents last year. I help 2 of my grand daughters with their home work when their Mom is working (our youngest is a substitute teacher for Catoosa Schools. I really enyoy reading we read a lot of books now that we can. We don't have a time limit for bedtime so we do what we want when we want to do it, it is just the 2 of us so we take advantage of it.
My favorite books, movies and music:
I like mysteries. comedy, suppense, and with our 2 grand daughters living so close we watch alot of childrens movies. I enjoy our cats we have 4 outside cats and 1 inside cat ,my husband bottled fed him when he was a few days old he has never known out side and he won't go out either. He was almost dead when his mom brought him to us she couldn't take care of him so we did and got to attached to him he is 3 1/2 now we have never had an inside pet before now. I used to enjou cooking, and baking till I got to where I couldn't. We still listen to the same music we did when we dated the music if you want to call it that we don't like.
