I am the mom of Synthia Shaw.....she and Connie were friends living in the same neighborhood....We know Connie is in a wonderful place....we think of the family often.....we pray that he who harmed her will be brought to justice.....Connie's smile will always be with us......lol

Garry Dietz is missed so much by his son Justin Dietz , Garry would be so proud of his only son .
Lorne Frady, 45, of Clayton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton.
He was born in Clayton, GA, and was preceded in death by his fathers, Clyne Frady and Verlin Rogers.
Lorne is survived by his wife, Mary Lisa Parsons Frady; his mothers, Carol Barnes Frady and Annie Mae Rogers; two sons, Zachary Smith of Clayton, GA, Zane Smith of Ringold, GA; two daughters, Amanda Hopper of Clayton, GA, Amber Womble of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Audie Rogers of Covington, KY, Stacy Rogers of Ringold, GA; three sisters, Sheila Blackwell of Walhalla, SC, Renay Myers of Clayton, GA, Elonda Wilson of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Lorne graduated from Ringold High School and he was an HVAC serviceman and installer. He was a member of Wiley Church of God, and he cherished being able to serve God and to sing the Gospel. He loved being outdoors and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.
The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Persimmon Church of God on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2 PM with Rev. Gary Ashe, Rev. Jimmy Kilby and Rev. Phillip Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Persimmon Community Cemetery.

Truly a great man! Some of us attended school with Robert from primary through high school. He was the Salutatorian of the class and voted the most likely to succed. And, he really did! Jimmy served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.and worked as a farmer for many years. He is survived by 3 children. Karen(Swanson)Durham(1983), Kenny Swanson(1983) and Kathy(Swanson)Smith(1987). All of who graduated from Ringgold High School. Also he had 5 grandsons, 2 grand-daughters, 2 great-grandsons, and 1 great-grand-daughter. The Funeral was held in the Lafayette Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home on January 24,2006. Interment was held in Center Point Cemetary with Full Military Honors. He will be truly missed by his friends and family. Heart felt Thanks goes to everyone who came to comfort the family, to those responsible for flowers and for all the prayers lifted up in his memory. God Bless you all.
William died in an automobile accident. He was the first classmate that the Class of '57 lost. We were so grieved when he was killed....he was a great person!

Dad passed away March 8,2007 after a brief illness. He was a wonderful husband and a great father. He will be greatly missed by our family and friends especially his grandchildren. We love and miss you very much!

Larry, was killed in an automobile accident on his way home from work Dec 11, 1965, at he tender age of 20. He was the first fatality on the just opened I-24. He was married to Nina Hullender and had one son, 18-month old Larry Bradford (Brad) Rhodes (also a grad of RHS). Larry played Varsity Basketball at RHS for four years. He was very loved and always had a smile for everyone. We still miss you, Larry!
My Mother-in-law, my friend passed away this past Friday night. She was a special woman and will be missed.
Bladder cancer took Willard from us at age 62. He is missed.

My brother, Randall Stapp, died of Muscular Dystrophy in January 1984. He graduated in 1969. He was so proud to do so, as he could only move his hands and head at the time, and his feet were turned sideways from his disease. He loved school and all his friends who helped him all day long to get down the halls and to football games. I personally want to thank all his friends for everything they have done. Robbie Van Pelt, of 10 Gilder Point Court of Simpsonville, S.C., passed away Oct. 11, 2005.
Robbie was an enthusiastic, compassionate and devoted mother, wife and educator. Her passion for life and learning was contagious, positively impacting everyone who crossed her path. She had the unique ability to see the best in everyone and consistently went the extra mile to make the lives of her family and friends better. Robbie's focus and true source of her joy were her children, Anne and Katie. She loved them with all her heart and soul.
Robbie was born in Ringgold, Ga., on Feb. 22, 1952, to Mary Elizabeth Allen and the late Robert Lee Allen. A graduate of Ringgold high School, She received her undergraduate degree from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Ga., and her Masters degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. Robbie was the Instructional Media Coordinator of Greenville County Schools. She was the past president of the South Carolina Association of School Librarians.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Caron Foundation in Redding, Pa.

My dad battled 2 long years of terminal small cell carcinoma (Lung Cancer) and he died of a massive heart attack on April 29. 2002. The doctors said the cancer wouildn't kill him but a heart attack or stroke would. My brother Patrick (class of 2002) and myself (Jennifer class of 1993) would like to have him remembered. Just 3 years after his sister Stacey was killed, class of '88, Greg died from a brain aneurysm. He is missed every day by family and friends.
I am entering this information in loving memory of my sister and friend, Sami Akers Gaines. She was taken from us on November 20, 1997 in an automobile accident. Read in the obituary today where Randall (Randy) Yates had passed away on July 6, 2012. I didn't notice what the cause of his death was but in the charities section it stated to give donations to the American Cancer Society. I sure hated to hear that he had passed away.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
jim & his brother tim, were in mrs. owens homeroom class. jim was killed in a car wreck on oct 23 1985. he left behind a 3 yr old son (shawn)that is now in his 20's. and can be found on facepage.

Shani Strickland-Fecht was shot & killed by her 18 yr old son in Sandy Springs GA., on June 2, 2009. She was 40 yrs. old. Such a sad ending for such a sweet girl!
Jerry Edward Wilson Jr., 40, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, in a local health care facility.
Mr. Wilson was a resident of Chattanooga and a graduate of the 1986 class of Ringgold High School. He was known as Eddie. He was employed with MHI for more than 14 years, was a member of the Brainerd Lions Club, and attended Woodland Park Baptist Church. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves, stationed in Decatur, Ala., serving in the 663rd Squadron, formerly of the 844 having served in Kuwait in 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Martina Lucille Wilson, Harrison; son, Taylor Lee Wilson, Harrison; parents, Jerry Sr. and Linda Wilson, Rossville; brother, Dale L. Wilson, Chattanooga; nephew, Jonathon B. Wilson, Chattanooga; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold Lee Jr. and Marty Hickman, Ooltewah; and several nieces and nephews.
Billy passed away after a short battle with cancer. He will be missed very much.

Garry was involved in an accident on April 11, 2002. Garry was a loving father with a wonderful spirit (prankster)! He is sorely missed by all. We know that Heaven is a better place with Garry there! The good news is that his son Justin, carries on the same spirit cracking jokes and playing pranks.

Brandy Nicole Chambers of Tunnel Hill died Friday, July 17, 2009. She was 25.
She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill. She was a graduate of Ringgold Highs School, Class of 2003, but also had attended the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute and Chattanooga State. She was previously employed with Goodwill Industries as a Clerk, but her passion in life, was singing, talking on the phone, helping others in need and most of all being the center of attention.
